Sunday 20th September 2020 – CENTRAL PARK Report

DROOPYS VALLEY completed a quick ‘double’ at Hove back in June beating Annaghdown Vic by 3/4 of a length in A3 grade and Oonahs Keira by just over five lengths in A2 grade a week later. Lightly raced since the October 16 son of Aero Majestic was sent off a 20/1 chance for Heat 2 of the Central Park Standard competition over 480 metres. Showing good early pace and racing handy he finished in 2nd place beaten just under seven lengths by the Patrick Janssens trained winner Seaglass Tiger. Owned by Brian Harrison, Dave Staddon and Mrs P. A. Taylor ‘Droopys Valley’ clocked 29.61 and qualifies for next Sundays Final!

VLAD THE IMPALER was sent off a 7/1 chance for the Central Park Super Standard Open race over 500 metres where he led after making a quick break! Crowded at the 1st bend he kept on well to finish in 3rd place clocking 30.42 when beaten just over eight lengths by the Jim Daly trained winner Blue Tick George.
