OUR RUNNERS-UP!

A 5/2 shot RISING ROCKET held every chance in the A6 at 7-03 and clocking 30.79 (-10) 30.69 calculated he finished in 2nd place beaten just under two lengths by Oldstock Annie.

SIZZLERS JOY was always handy in the A3 at 7-49 and finishing in 2nd place our 3/1 chance clocked 30.30 (Normal) when beaten just under two lengths by Swift Paddy.

Showing good early pace SHANEBOY JULIE led to the 3rd bend in the A5 at 8-21. In need of the run ‘Julie’ clocked 30.49 (Normal) when finishing in 2nd place beaten four and a half lengths by Queenies Rainbow.

ANOTHER ME ran on well to finish 2nd in the D1 Sprint at 9-08. A 3/1 chance ‘Monty’ clocked 16.83 (Normal) when beaten just a ‘short-head’ by Allianz Park. Kennel mate TOKYO JOE was a 9/2 shot but he suffered crowding at the 1st bend. Clocking 16.94 (Normal) he finished in 5th place just under two lengths behind the winner.

How Our Other Runners Fared

Back up in trip CASABLANCA was a 6/1 chance for the A7 at 7-33 but racing just off the pace he finished in 4th place clocking 31.00 (Normal) when beaten just over six lengths by Butterbridge Dee.

A 9/4 fancy for the D3 Sprint at 8-38 SIZZLERS GUNBOAT could only manage a 3rd place finish. After showing good early pace and leading from the 1st to the 2nd bend he clocked 16.93 (Normal) when beaten just under two lengths by Boherdeel Jim. Kennel mate BALIBO RUBY was a 6/1 shot but she blew her chance with a slow break and 1st bend crowding! Finishing in 4th place ‘Ruby’ clocked 17.12 (Normal) when beaten just over four lengths by the winner.

FOREVER MICK clocked 30.41 when beating Tuxedo Lilly back in May but he was sent off a 6/1 chance for the A6 at 9-26. Slow away and crowded at the 1/4 mark the out of form ‘Micky’ clocked 30.98 (Normal) when finishing in 5th place beaten just over six lengths by Crystal Lad.
