WINNERS

‘TOKYO JOE’ AND ‘MAGS’ PRODUCE A KENNEL 1-2!

TOKYO JOE was quick away and always led when beating Sword Of Fate by almost two lengths in a D2 Sprint on the 28th August! Well beaten by Get On Brig in D1 grade on his latest start the October 15 son of Rio Quattro was a 7/2 chance for the D2 Sprint at 6-44. Showing good early pace he led from 1/2 way and kept on well to beat his kennel mate Balibo Mags by two lengths. Owned by Jonathan Muller ‘Tokyo Joe’ clocked 16.64 (Normal) when winning his 7th race at Hove! BALIBO MAGS was sent off the 7/1 outsider but holding every chance she clocked 16.80 (Normal) when finishing in 2nd place beaten two lengths by the winner.

A 6th HOVE WIN FOR SHANEBOY JULIE!

SHANEBOY JULIE  –  Won 5 of her last 8 races!

SHANEBOY JULIE completed a Hove ‘hat-trick’ when beating Swift Oran by a length in A3 grade on the 2nd August! Put up ‘two’ grades for that win the October 15 daughter of Shaneboy Spencer went three runs without success. Eased in grade last Saturday she raced clear to beat her kennel mate Jeds Wizard by almost four lengths! A 6/1 chance for the A2 at 7-33 she was quick away and although bumped at the 1st bend ran on strongly to beat the Wayne Wrighting trained Waste House Eco by 3/4 of a length! Owned by Norah McEllistrim, Mr A. E. O’Shaughnessy and Jackie Thomas ‘Shaneboy Julie’ clocked 30.41 (Normal) when winning for the 6th time at Hove! Kennel mate SISTERS MISTER  was an 8/1 shot but he was slow away and crowded at the 1st bend! Clocking 30.53 (Normal) he finished in 4th place beaten just under two lengths by the winner.

How Our Other Runners Fared

‘FIVE’ 2nds ON THE NIGHT FOR NORAH!

FRONT STEP was sent off a 4/1 chance for the A8 MEGA OWNERS’ BONUS SERIES FINAL at 7-49 which was worth £1,000 to the winner! Despite making a slow start she produced a strong finish and clocking 30.79 (+10) 30.89 calculated finished in 2nd place beaten a length and a half by Crossfield Jumbo.

A 7/2 chance for the A3 at 7-03 BABY BLESS HIM ran very well to finish in 2nd place! Quick away he led to near the line clocking an impressive 30.35 (Normal) when beaten just a ‘head’ by Derryadd Recruit.

Slow away but finishing well our 6/1 chance DROOPYS ROXY clocked 30.58 (+10) 30.68 calculated when finishing 2nd beaten just a length a half by Enzo Red in the A6 at 8-06.

A 7/1 chance ANOTHER ME was slow away in the D1 Sprint at 8-21 but running on well he finished in 2nd place clocking 16.62 (+5) 16.67 calculated when beaten just under four lengths by Lightfoot Costa.

BALLYSTEEN SKY was a 9/2 shot for the A11 at 7-17 but slow away and bumped at the 1st bend he clocked 31.74 (Normal) when finishing in 5th place beaten ten lengths by Ki Mand Jet.

Sent off the 10/1 outsider for the D3 Sprint at 9-26 SIZZLERS ORA suffered crowding at the 2nd bend and again on the run-in! Finishing in 6th place she clocked 17.17 (+5) 17.22 calculated when beaten just under seven lengths by Brinkleys Oscar.
