‘Sizzlersbaracuda’ Is Not For Catching!

WINNER
SIZZLERSBARACUDA beat Airforce General by 1/2 a length in an A11 last December but the January 15 son of Farloe Barracuda had been off the track for four months after finishing 2nd to I’m No Angel in January! A 5/2 chance for the A11 at 8-18 last night he showed good early pace and soon led! Determined not to be caught he held off the Derek Knight trained Ballantine Blaze to win by a length! Owned by Dave and Joy Cook Sizzlersbaracuda clocked 31.47 (Normal) when winning for the 2nd time at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared
The A9 at 7-46 which included our RACENIGHT TRISH in trap 5 was declared a ‘void’ race after the runners in traps 3 and 4 had raced from the incorrect traps!
DROOPYS RIVES was a 5/1 chance for the D2 Sprint at 8-34 where despite suffering crowding at the 1st bend the July 13 son of Westmead Hawk did well to finish in 3rd place! Clocking 17.07 (Normal) ‘River’ was beaten just under three lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Postman Mac.
REDSTAR POPPY was 5/2 joint-favourite for the A5 at 8-51 and although the February 14 daughter of Kinloch Brae was always placed to challenge she faded late on to finish in 5th place clocking 30.78 (Normal) when beaten just under five lengths by Cloheena Layla who is trained by Seamus Cahill.
Although OXTED FLYER was sent off a 5/1 chance for the A4 at 9-24 and the June 15 son of Droopys Cain can be counted a little unlucky not to have gained his 2nd Hove win! Slow away and in last place he sliced through the field only to fail by a ‘neck’ to peg back the Paul Garland trained winner Rixy Boy. Clocking 30.51 (Normal) Oxted Flyer finished in 2nd place!
CABRIOL ARAMIS was a 7/2 chance for the D2 Sprint at 10-13 where the May 14 daughter of Blonde Snapper held every chance when finishing in 2nd place! Clocking 16.75 (Normal) she was beaten just under three lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Liljaqs Girl.
