A 3rd HOVE WIN FOR ALE LELE!

ALE LELE was the 7/4 favourite when beaten almost five lengths by Windy Santos in A3 grade on the 17th May! Sent off a 5/1 chance for the A3 at 12-41 today the January 15 son of Premier Fantasy regained those losses when getting up near the line to beat the Claude Gardiner trained Clairkeith Jaspa by a head! Owned by Mr A. E O’Shaughnessy and Norah McEllistrim Ale Lele clocked 30.31 (-10) 30.21 calculated when winning his 3rd race at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared

BALIBO RUBY was a 9/4 fancy for the D2 Sprint at 11-11 but the July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Ruby syndicate suffered crowding at the 1st bend! Finishing in 4th place ‘Ruby’ clocked 17.01 (-10) 16.91 calculated when beaten just over three lengths by Ashgrove Jet who is trained by Ken Tester. Kennel mate LONGRANGE ENDA was a 5/1 chance but the September 15 son of Oaks Road who was baulked at the 1st bend found himself in ‘trouble’ after causing deliberate interference to Ferryforth Dora on the run-in! Beaten just over seven lengths, after clocking 17.34 (-10) 17.24 calculated, in 6th place he was disqualified and will now have to be on his best behaviour during his clearing Trials!

BALLYSTEEN STAR was a 7/1 chance for the A7 at 11-57 where the July 14 daughter of Droopys Scolari suffered crowding at the 1st bend. Keeping on ‘Star’ clocked 31.15 (-20) 30.95 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten just under five lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Shimba Vardy.

SPIDERMAN was a 4/1 shot for the D1 Sprint at 1-28 where the June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay held every chance when finishing 3rd to the Derek Knight trained Jackals Pavlova. Clocking 16.48 (-5) 16.43 calculated he was beaten just a length by the winner! Kennel mate SIZZLERS HAWK  was a 3/1 chance and he also had every chance in a tight finish! The July 14 son of Vans Escalade finished in 4th place clocking 16.50 (-5) 16.45 calculated when beaten just over a length by the winner.

DATA OLLY was the 10/1 outsider for the A5 at 1-44 where he made a very slow start! Clocking 31.08 (-10) 30.98 calculated the June 13 son of Head Bound finished in 4th place beaten just under four lengths by Myles Baby who is trained by Claude Gardiner.
