Sent off 5/2 favourite SPIDERMAN led at the 1st bend and kept on well to beat Brexit by 1/2 a length in a D1 Sprint on his last outing. But the June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay owned by Mr J. Ford was a 10/1 chance for Heat 1 of the HOVE THURSDAY NIGHT 500 SPRINT Open race competition. Baulked at the 1st bend ‘Spiderman’ clocked 17.07 (-15) 16.92 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten just over five lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Street Lane.

A beaten favourite on his latest run SIZZLERSCHEYENNE was sent off a 16/1 chance up in class for Heat 2 of the HOVE THURSDAY NIGHT 500 SPRINT Open race competition. Slow away and crowded at 1/2 way the August 12 son of Hondo Black owned by Dave & Joy Cook clocked 16.89 (-15) 16.74 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten five lengths by race winner Wildfire Blossom who is trained by Paul Young.

Racing in Open company for the first time TOKYO JOE was by no means disgraced when finishing 4th behind the Seamus Cahill trained winner Lenson Cobra. Sent off a 25/1 shot for the BRIGHTONDOGS.CO.UK MAIDEN Open race run over 475 metres the October 15 son of Rio Quattro owned by Jonathan Muller was baulked at the 1st bend and crowded on the run-in! Clocking 28.44 (-30) 28.14 calculated he was beaten just under five lengths by the winner.
