WINNER

FOLLOW-UP WIN FOR SIZZLERS GUNBOAT!

SIZZLERS GUNBOAT showed good track craft when winning last time! Our wide runner was baulked at 1/2 way but moving to the rails he shot clear to beat Annies Charm by three lengths! Sent off the 9/4 favourite for the D3 Sprint at 6-02 the September 15 son of Mall Brandy followed up in great style! Quick away he always led when beating the Tony Taylor trained Kanturk Sister by a length and a half! Owned by Dave Cook & Joy Cook  ‘Sizzlers Gunboat’ clocked 16.66 (Normal) when winning for the 6th time at Hove. Kennel mate BALIBO RUBY a 7/2 shot held every chance and clocking 16.96 (Normal) she finished in 4th place beaten just under four lengths by the winner.

How Our Other Runners Fared

Although baulked at the 1st bend and crowded at the 2nd ANOTHER ME ran on to finish 3rd in the D2 Sprint at 2-52. Clocking 16.72 (Normal) ‘Monty’ was beaten just over three lengths by There She Sails. Kennel mate BALIBO MAGS made a slow start and clocking 16.78 (Normal) she finished in 4th place four lengths behind the winner. Our third runner DERRYADD MARLEY suffered crowding at 1/2 way! Finishing in 5th place she clocked 16.80 (Normal) when beaten just over four lengths by the winner.

MY SPICE was sent off a 4/1 chance for the A7 at 4-48 but suffered crowding at the 1st bend and again at 1/2 way! Clocking 31.37 (Normal) she finished in 6th place beaten eight lengths by Isaacs Beauty.

SIZZLERS ORA held every chance in the D3 Sprint at 5-08 and clocking 16.90 (Normal) she finished in 2nd place beaten just a length by Nellie Oleson. Kennel mate BALLYSTEEN STAR was a 9/4 joint-favourite but she suffered crowding and finishing in 4th place clocked 17.23 (Normal) when beaten five lengths by the winner.
