WINNERS

GRANNYS DREAM ended a ten race losing run when leading near the line to beat his kennel mate Lady Essex by 1/2 a length in a D4 Sprint on the 22nd September! Well beaten by Yassoo Terry in an A7 last time the October 16 son of Newinn Yolo ‘popped’ up again today in the A7 at 10-17. Sent off a 10/1 shot he suffered crowding at the 1st bend but recovered to lead at the 4th keeping on well to beat the Richard Rees trained Mandeville Koby by 3/4 of a length! Owned by Michael Bailey, Liz Zahedieh, Norah McEllistrim, and the late Mary Pledge ‘Grannys Dream’ clocked 30.88 (-10) 30.78 calculated when winning for the 5th time at Hove!

TUPENNY BIGSHOT finished 3rd when beaten two lengths by Sporting Proseco in a D3 Sprint on his latest start but today the July 18 son of Kinlock Brae opened his Hove account when stepping up in trip for the A6 at 1-09. Sent off the 8-11 fav. he showed good early pace and led at the 1st bend! Keeping on well he beat the Maria Collins trained Justin Time by a length! Owned by Joy Cook and Norah McEllistrim ‘Tupenny Bigshot’ clocked 30.47 (Normal) when winning his 1st race at Hove!

DROOPYS VALLEY was sent off a 6/1 chance for the A2 at 1-20 where he showed good early pace and led from the 1/4 mark to the 4th bend! Finishing in 2nd place he clocked 29.97 (Normal) when beaten a length and a half by the Richard Yeates trained winner Come On Lily.
