SUMMERVILLE KATE – made it 204 wins for the Racing Club!

SUMMERVILLE KATE led near the line to beat the Seamus Cahill trained Pandas Patch by a length in B2 grade on the 17th July! A decent 3rd behind Dinner Thetruth on her latest run the July 15 daughter of Forest Master was sent off a 7/2 chance for the B2 at 7-03. Always handy she led at the 3rd bend and kept on well to beat the Matt Dartnall trained Rewind Turbo by almost two lengths! Owned by the Norah Mac Racing Club ‘Summerville Kate’ clocked 29.44 (-20) 29.24 calculated when winning her 13th race for the ‘Club’ and takes their total number of winners onto the 204 mark! Kennel mate CALS MADISON was a 9/2 chance but he suffered crowding at the 1st bend! Finishing in 4th place he clocked 29.60 (-20) 29.40 calculated when beaten just over two lengths by the winner.

How Our Other Runners Fared

SIZZLERS GUNBOAT was a 7/2 shot for the B3 at 6-44 but after making a slow start he clocked 29.76 (-20) 29.56 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten two and a half lengths by Mantra.

A 10/1 chance for Heat 1 of the CORAL 490 Open competition CHAIN LIGHTING was slow away and crowded at the 2nd bend! Finishing in 4th place he clocked 28.97 (-20) 28.77 calculated when beaten just over four lengths by the Matt Dartnall trained Distant Village.
