14th/15th Preview…
Gino (Horse Outside) looks to have a favourite’s chance in his A3 on Friday at 9.30. Whilst still having to wear the white jacket our youngster may have the measure of inside rivals to the first bend. There doesn’t appear to be a star in the race and, if avoiding first bend trouble, he should stay on too strongly for his rivals. Fingers crossed!
Later on Friday, Oscar (Lima Oscar) has another spin in an A3 at 10.00pm. The contest features some decent campaigners and Oscar will need to put his best paw forward to make the frame. That said he’s consistent and brave and his chance can’t be discounted.
Wendy (Hanover Lady) has reached the heady heights of A2, contesting the 8.30pm on Saturday. She benefits from the rail perch and may well need to build a decent lead, with some trouble behind, to hold off some pretty decent rivals. Still a performance similar to her win last week would see our four-time winner go close.
It’s disappointing to have to report that Woody (Fleetwood Rocker) took another tumble when having a re-schooling trial at the track on Wednesday morning. Apparently he took off too soon at the penultimate flight, having jumped well until that point.
