FARLOE SCOLARI was our only winner today and was winning for the second time in his last three outings! The April 2010 son of Droopys Scolari led at the second bend in the D2 sprint at 5-07 and beat the Seamus Cahill trained Guinness Master by 3/4 of a length! Owned by Dave and Julia Reynolds Farloe Scolari clocked 16.84 (normal) when winning for the 18th time at Hove!
How Our Other Runners Fared
Pennys Peewee was slow away and baulked at the first bend in the D1 sprint at 2-08 and clocked 16.84 (-5) 16.79 calculated when finishing in 4th place five lengths behind the Seamus Cahill trained Get On Speedy.
Young pup Speak Out Lilly will be winning soon! She was making her challenge in the A9 at 2-27 when she was crowded at the third bend and baulked on the run-in. ‘Lilly’ was only beaten two lengths in 4th place clocking 31.09 (-10) 30.99 calculated behind Clonavaddy Rose who is trained by Doreen Walsh.
Graiguenoe Royal was added to the card overnight. He ran from trap 1 in the A6 at 3-07 and suffered crowding at the first bend when finishing 3rd, clocking 30.84 (-10) 30.74 calculated, three lengths behind the Claude Gardiner trained winner Solid Tempo.
Coolavanny Keira has been in good form lately and ran another decent race in the A10 at 3-28. She showed early pace and soon led only to be caught right on the line finishing 2nd just 1/2 a length behind the Dean Childs trained Fabulous Sienna. ‘Keira’ clocked 30.92 (-10) 30.82 calculated.
Droopys Bertha took up the running at the third bend in the A7 at 4-08 and led to the 3/4 mark finishing in 3rd place clocking 30.86 (normal) two and a quarter lengths behind the Paul Garland trained winner Bandit Timmy.
Fine Royal had an off day in the A4 at 4-27. He was slow away, baulked at the first bend, and crowded at the fourth! Beaten seven and a half lengths he clocked 30.78 (normal) in 5th place behind the winner Coolavanny Patsy who is trained by Dean Childs.
Monleek Diamond was sent off the 5/2 second favourite for the A3 at 4-47 but a slow start put paid to her chance and she finished in 6th place beaten five and a quarter lengths behind the Maria Collins trained winner Swift Kidman. Monleek Diamond clocked 30.77 (normal).
The Racing Clubs Classy Molly led briefly on the run-in during the A5 at 5-38 but was finally beaten one and three quarter lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Seagrave Sam. ‘Molly’ clocked 30.81 (normal) in 3rd place. Ballymac Benefit held every chance, 1/2 a length off her kennel mate, in 4th place clocking 30.86 (normal).
The Racing Club had a second chance of a winner when Horse Outside contested the A6 at 6-11. ‘Gino’ was baulked at the first bend but still managed 2nd place clocking 30.87 (normal) two and three quarter lengths behind the winner Mistaken Eye Dee who is trained by Claude Gardiner.

‘ZARA TWO’ IS 2nd AT SWINDON!
Wednesday 6th August SWINDON Report
Zara Two finished 2nd in the Billy King 6th Birthday Standard Open Race at Swindon tonight. Racing rails to middle and gaining a clear run he was beaten three and a half lengths by the Kevin Hutton trained Hiphip Who Razor. Zara Two was a 4/1 shot and clocked 29.08 sec.
A slow break didn’t help Droopys Brody in the Billy King 6th Birthday Stakes Open Race over 509 metres and he finished 4th clocking 30.88 sec. behind the Kevin Hutton trained winner Paradise Malibu. ‘Brody’ was beaten five lengths and was a 20/1 outsider.
Droopys Halo was very slow away in the Billy King 6th Birthday Stakes Open Race over 685 metres and finished in 6th place. A 12/1 chance Droopys Halo clocked 43.44 sec. sixteen lengths behind the winner Hollyoak Laelaps who is trained by Ray Butler.

Friday 8th August HOVE Runners
Westmead Louisa is up in grade for the A10 at 10-38 after her win last Saturday night!
Avit On Elsie has run well on her last two outings and has to be given a chance in the A11 at 11-07.
Shyan Zippy is running well and won’t be far away at the finish of the A7 at 11-23.
Blazing Swallow has suffered crowding on her last two runs. She will need a decent break to get involved in the A7 at 11-37.
Swift Messi – his 142nd race!
Swift Messi lines up for race 142 when he goes to traps for the A6 at 12-24. ‘Lionel’ continues in great form and cannot be ruled out!
On Your Lonesome has been sprinting but he does have some decent form over 515 metres. Good trial over this trip at the end of July gives him a chance in the A8 at 1-11.
Coologue Gem won an A3 in fast time but missed her break on her latest run. Needs to get things right in the A1 at 1-27.
We have two runners lining up for the A6 at 1-58. Mineola Prof is lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement whereas Princess Jetta would go close on her best form having been sharpened by a couple of sprints!
