2011, WGOA Dinner Dance, May 1st
Check out all the details via the WGOA link to the right of this page. Here are some of the reasons why it’s worth attending:
- Several norahmacracingclub owners have already booked to attend, many go every year anyway given their connection with other runners throughout the year.
- Norah and most of the kennel team generally attend.
- An opportunity to re-live the highlights of the Graded racing year and acknowledge the hounds’ performances.
- Phil Donaldson (last year) or similarly talented commentator reviewing, with visual highlights, the victories of the award winners.
- Decent grub (veggie option) and wine included in the price.
- Alan Clarke’s attempts to distribute the raffle prizes without swearing more than once in any single sentence.
- Fun and relaxed atmosphere.
- Meet other owners and club members.
- Overnight accomodation for those that require it.
- Music and dancing.
- Late night is okay as it’s a Bank Holiday in the morning.
- An opportunity to bid for another norahmacracingclub membership for friend/family with the proceeds going to Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare
