Norah is pleased to report that Woody (Fleetwood Rocker) had a satisfactory sprint trial on Wednesday morning.  Short a claw, our lad seems none the worse and Norah hopes he’ll have a 480m trial next week, possibly before the Sky meeting on Tuesday.

Saturday’s card features two club-owned runners.  We have Gino (Horse Outside) contesting the 8.00pm, an  A6. The youngster showed progression last time and is surely a winner waiting to happen. That said his recent promising run may be reflected in a less than generous price in the betting ring.

Oscar (Lima Oscar) again benefits from the sole wide berth in the 9.00pm – an A4.

Wendy (Hanover Lady) isn’t out at the weekend but is in good form at home and may be out in the support card on Tuesday.
