DRAGON OVERLORD clocked 29.17 calculated when finishing 3rd to the Richard Yeates trained Ballycannon Bob in a Derby Trial Stakes on the 7th April. The July 14 son of Tullymurry Act owned by Mr J. A. Yelding clocked 29.08 (Normal) when again 3rd to his old rival Ballycannon Bob on the 21st April. Dragon Overlord clocked 28.90 calculated when 3rd beaten just over six lengths by the Paul Marchant trained Ebony Flyer on the 28th April. The youngster who ‘found’ time in all three Trial Stakes runs needed a first three finish in Heat 34 to qualify for Round Two! In last place going into the back straight he produced a strong late run to grab 3rd place right on the line! Clocking 28.73 calculated he was beaten just over three lengths by the Mark Wallis trained Domino Storm. Our youngster has plenty of scope but he will need to show further improvement again tonight!

BADMOONRISING just loves it at Wimbledon and he comes alive at this time of the year! A winner of two Derby Trial Stake Races followed by a First Round Derby Heat win in 2015 he progressed to the 2nd Round of this years Derby in fine style! The August 12 son of Ace Hi Rumble owned by Mick McCrory & Debbie Williams clocked 29.07 calculated when beating Castledale Magic four lengths in a 2-dog Trial over 480 metres at Wimbledon last Saturday but produced his best form to qualify from a tricky Heat 13. Despite a bump at the start the 16/1 outsider got a good run round the first two bends and showing good back straight pace he kept on well clocking a decent 28.66 (Normal) when 2nd beaten a length and a half by the Maria Collins trained winner My Real Mutley. Drawn in a tough Heat tonight Badmoonrising must show his authority early!

ANOTHER ME clocked 30.40 calculated when beating Oakfront Express by almost four lengths in a 3-dog Trial over 515 metres on the 27th April. The February 14 son of Shaneboy Lee made his return (x off-colour) with a drop in grade for an A2 last Saturday. ‘Monty’ led to the fourth bend but was baulked on the run-in and faded to finish 6th clocking 30.62 calculated when beaten two and a half lengths by Maui Ace. He gets ‘another’ drop in grade having been added to the A3 at 7-46. Kennel mate VISCOUNT RAMBLER was the 10/1 outsider for an A2 on the 23rd April but he ran a ‘cracker’ clocking a superb 30.25 (Normal) when 2nd beaten just 3/4 of a length by the impressive Castleview Jake. The June 11 son of Goldmine Ramble clocked 30.74 calculated when finishing 4th beaten three and a half lengths by Newinn Bling when given a drop in grade for an A3 on the 1st May!

BALIBO MAGS last raced on the 25th March where she clocked 30.43 calculated when finishing 3rd beaten just under three lengths by Tolpuddle Mist in A3 grade! The July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Mags syndicate clocked 16.79 (Normal) when beating Varra Major a length in a 3-dog Trial over 285 metres on the 8th May following seasonal rest. ‘Mags’ lines up for the D1 Sprint at 9-07 alongside kennel mate INDEPENDENT JACK who last ran when 5th to Cumann Star in an Open race Sprint at Hove on the 27th March! The August 13 son of Kinloch Brae owned by the
Norah Mac Racing Club clocked 16.75 (Normal) when beating Droopys Tomford a length and a half in a 285 metre Sprint Trial on the 8th May and is making his return after injury.
AVIT ON MAVIS finished 2nd clocking 31.63 (Normal) when beaten just under two lengths by Killeacle Faith in A11 grade on the 29th April. The July 13 daughter of Uncle Willie was a 5/2 fancy for an A11 last Saturday but clocked 31.46 calculated when finishing 3rd beaten six and a half lengths by Punk Rock Girl. ‘Mavis’ runs in the A11 at 9-24 with kennel mate TIMBERLEE LAD who returns after sickness. The April 14 son of Blackstone Gene last raced when finishing 5th behind Magpie Tim in A10 grade on the 28th January. He clocked 31.48 (Normal) when 2nd to Sevenfourseven in a 3-dog Trial over 515 metres on the 7th May.
WESTMEAD HUNTER clocked 36.27 calculated when finishing 3rd to Roswell Flo Jo in a Maiden Stayers Open at Romford on the 29th April. The September 13 son of Westmead Logan returned to graded action for an A5 on the 5th May and clocked a decent 30.45 calculated when finishing 4th beaten just under four lengths by Dinner Carolina. He held every chance clocking 30.73 (Normal) when finishing 3rd beaten four lengths by Ballyregan Cain in A5 grade on Wednesday and makes a quick reappearance in the A5 at 9-41.
MARYS BOY clocked 17.00 calculated when 6th to Drumcove Jar Jar in a D3 Sprint on the 16th March. The June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay clocked 16.82 calculated in a 285 metre Solo Trial on the 9th May and returns from injury to run in the D3 at 9-57.
BLACK SHLOER found ‘trouble’ in-running after making a slow start and clocked 31.04 (Normal) when finishing 6th beaten just under four lengths by Shirleys Whisky in A5 grade on the 22nd April. The June 12 son of Hondo Black held every chance clocking a very decent 30.34 calculated when 2nd beaten just over two lengths by Dinner Carolina on the 5th May and runs in the A5 at 10-13.
