SIZZLERS PUMA clocked 29.13 (Normal) when finishing 4th beaten four lengths by the Robert Pattinson trained winner Pass To Go in a Derby Trial Stakes on the 21st April. The December 12 son of Skywalker Puma owned by Dave and Joy Cook showed good early pace and kept on well clocking 28.91 calculated when 3rd beaten just 3/4 of a length by the Paul Young trained winner Droopys Admire on the 28th April. Connections knew the 33/1 outsider had to produce a big run to qualify from a tricky Heat. The ‘Puma’ didn’t let them down! He broke well but was bumped at the first bend. Going head to head with the well fancied Fire Height Tosh down the back straight Sizzlers Puma kept on well to take 3rd place! Clocking 28.92 (Normal) he was beaten just under five lengths by the Len Ponder owned, Pat Buckley trained, winner Lenson Sanchez.

                               See how Sizzlers Puma qualified!
