Clonmel winner SPRINGFIELD GOLD was beaten just over two lengths when 4th to Punkrock Pistol in a D3 Sprint on her 2nd run at Hove. Sent off a 100/30 chance for the D3 at 8-17 the February 19 daughter of Droopys Jet made it 3rd time lucky as she opened her Hove account last night! Leading at the 1st bend she kept on well to beat the Stuart Maplesden trained Punk Rock Poet by 1/2 a length! Owned by Mr A. Parfitt ‘Springfield Gold’ clocked 16.86 (-10) 16.76 calculated when winning her 1st race at Hove!

MISS AVA made a winning debut at Hove when running on strongly to beat the Claude Gardiner trained Dapper Lad by a length in an A2 on the 15th October! Finding ‘trouble’ in running when 4th behind Marlfield Glen in A1 grade on her latest run the April 19 daughter of Good News was sent off a 5/2 chance for the A1 at 7-18. Crowded at the 1st bend she led at the 4th and held on well to beat the Richard Yeates trained Ballyblack Speed by a short-head! Owned by Mr A. Parfitt ‘Miss Ava’ clocked 29.95 (-20) 29.75 calculated when winning her 2nd race at Hove!
