FIRST A1 WIN FOR ‘PRINCESS PATI’ AT HOVE!

Wednesday 13th August HOVE Report

Winner

Greyhound_Princess_Pati-_2

PRINCESS PATI has won three times at A2 level at Hove but today she won in top grade for the first time when winning the A1 at 5-22. The June 2011 daughter of Eden Brett was sent off a 3/1 chance and railing well led near the line to beat the Claude Gardiner trained Clairekeith Will by a length! Owned by Diane and Alf Benson she clocked 30.12 (normal) when winning at Hove for the 7th time. This was an 8th career win for ‘Pati’ as she has a win at Waterford on her Irish Card!

How Our Other Runners Fared

Farloe Scolari was slow away and baulked at the first bend in the D1 sprint at 2-08. The 8/1 outsider finished in 6th place beaten just under seven lengths, by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Tommys Rocket, clocking 16.99 (normal).

Mineola Prof was raised two grades for an easy win last time but found it too much for him in the A4 at 2-47. He was sent off an 8/1 shot and suffered crowding at the first bend and was beaten just under five lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Farran North. Mineola Prof clocked 30.68 (normal) in 4th place

Monleek Diamond was quick away in the A3 at 3-07 and led to the fourth bend. She finished in 4th place clocking 30.42 (normal) three lengths behind the Derek Knight trained winner Liosgarbh Maybe.

Droopys Winnie suffered trouble in running when baulked at the first bend during the A5 at 3-28. She clocked 30.83 (normal) in 4th place when beaten seven and three quarter lengths by Westmead Celt who is trained by Wayne Wrighting.

Blazing Swallow suffered a similar fate in the A7 at 4-08. She was baulked at the first bend when beaten three and a half lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Claudes Rachel. Blazing Swallow clocked 31.08 (normal) in 5th place.

Princess Jetta was 6th in the D2 sprint at 4-47 but was only beaten two lengths! The 7/1 shot was baulked at the first bend and clocked 16.94 (normal) behind the winner Linwood Rumble who is trained by Paul Garland.

We had two runners in the A3 at 5-07 but they both finished in the rear. Finishing 4th Intayacynthia was baulked at the fourth bend and clocked 30.76 (normal) when beaten six lengths by the Derek Knight trained winner Questhouse Aura. Cellini was baulked and stumbled at the fourth when clocking 30.93 a further two lengths behind her kennel mate finishing 6th.

Thursday 14th August HOVE Runners

Off the track for almost two months Glenvale Rosie returns to action in the A10 at 7-31. She wins in this grade but her fitness will have to be taken on trust!

Boskill Breeze runs in the A8 at 8-02 and is another returning from injury while kennel mate Release The Ace has been sharpened up by a sprint trial at Romford.

The ultra consistent veteran Swift Messi gets his chance to shine on T.V. In great form with two wins from his last three outings. Up in grade for latest win but is bound to run well in the A5 at 8-50.

Droopys Bertha is running well and should be thereabouts in the A7 at 9-24.

Speak Out Lily runs in the A9 at 9-40. She is gaining experience and may have finished closer with a clear run last time!

Fine Royal is back in graded action after an Open race run out at Sittingbourne and runs in the A4 at 9-56.

Running in the A2 at 10-11 Satellite Fever is up in grade after his A3 win on the 1st August.

Zara Two and Coologue Gem renew rivalry in the A1 at 10-26. Zara Two came out on top the last time they met! But there is nothing between them on recent form and both should run well.
