Hove Wins For “Becky” and “Benefit”
‘AVITE BECKY’ AND ‘BALLYMAC BENEFIT’ DOUBLE UP FOR NORAH!

Winners
AVITE BECKY was winning for the third time in her last six outings when she won the A8 at 8-51. The August 2011 daughter of Rumble Impact was quick away and always led to beat the Seamus Cahill trained Who Needs Glory by an impressive three lengths! The 3/1 shot is owned by the Comebackin Club and clocked a decent 30.33 (+10) 30.43 calculated when winning for the 8th time at Hove.
Our second winner on the night was BALLYMAC BENEFIT who was winning her 18th race when getting the better of the Wendy Short trained All Excuses in the A5 at 9-41. The June 2010 daughter of Burnpark Champ was baulked at the first bend but recovered to dispute the lead from the third. She stayed on well to gain a short head verdict over the runner-up. Owned by the Power Of Seven Syndicate the 5/1 winner clocked 30.88 (+10) 30.98 calculated when winning for the 15th time at Hove. She had 3 wins for the syndicate at Wimbledon prior to the kennels move to Hove!
How Our Other Runners Fared
Blazing Swallow was 5th in the A7 at 7-31 but she was not beaten that far! Sent off the 10/1 outsider she held every chance when clocking 30.76 (normal) three lengths behind the Ken Tester trained Swift Miranda.
Droopys Brody was slow away in the A5 at 7-46 and he paid the price for that sluggish break when beaten three lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained Lisacaha Wizz. ‘Brody’ clocked 30.75 (normal) finishing in 6th place.
Mineola Prof was a non-runner in the A4 at 8-02.
Causeiloveyou was added to the A3 at 9-07 but he was unable to show his talent after he was baulked and hit the rails at the first bend! A 5/2 chance he clocked 30.82 (+10) 30.92 calculated in 6th place just over nine lengths behind the winner Girvan Blue who is trained by Derek Knight.
Glenvale Paddy was slow away in the A9 at 9-57. He was held up further when crowded at the third bend and clocked 30.93 (+10) 31.03 calculated in 5th place, four and a half lengths, behind the Claude Gardiner trained winner Claudes Tom.
Our two runners in the D2 sprint at 10-13 finished 2nd and 3rd! Farloe Scolari was sent off the 5/2 joint favourite and he ran on well clocking 16.60 (+5) 16.65 calculated to finish 2nd just 1/2 a length behind the winner Maketherounds who is trained by Derek Knight. Princess Jetta held every chance and clocked 16.76 (+5) 16.81 calculated a further two lengths away in 3rd place.
Coolavanny Keira has been in good form lately and was up in grade for the A9 at 10-30 after her recent win. Sent off at 7/2 she was crowded at the first bend and her chance was gone! ‘Keira’ clocked 31.16 (+10) 31.26 calculated in 6th place when beaten six and three quarter lengths by the winner Miss Jolly who is trained by Derek Knight.
