Kizi dead-heated for 3rd place in the IEP FINANCIAL LTD STAKES over 285 metres at Hove on Thursday night. He got away cleanly and sat in 3rd place and was just making headway when bumped at the second bend. Kizi clocked 16.56 sec finishing four and a quarter lengths behind the Matt Dartnall trained winner Maximus Tango.

Princess Pati found plenty of trouble in THE SAMARITANS VOLUNTEERS TROPHY when she was crowded and checked at the first bend. She was further crowded at the second bend but ran on to finish 4th clocking 30.41 sec just under five lengths behind the Ken Tester trained winner Paradise Abbey.

Friday 29th August HOVE report

Pennys Peewee was slow away in the D1 sprint at 10.38 and finished in 4th place clocking 16.87 (-15) 16.72 calculated two and three quarter lengths behind the Seamus Cahill trained winner Get On Speedy.

Glenvale Rosie showed good early pace to lead to the third bend in the A10 at 10-53 before fading. ‘Rosie’ clocked 31.87 (-30) 31.57 calculated in 4th place six and a half lengths behind the winner Clonovaddy Rose who is trained by Doreen Walsh.

Speak Out Lilly came close to opening her account when going down by only 1/2 a length in the A9 at 11-07. The young pup was baulked at the first bend and 3/4 mark before finishing in 2nd place clocking 31.43 (-30) 31.13 calculated behind the Doreen Walsh trained winner Tour De France.

Droopys Bertha was crowded and forced to check at the first bend in the A7 at 11-37. She clocked 30.87 (-20) 30.67 calculated when beaten five and a quarter lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Millbank Nun when finishing in 4th place.

Shyan Zippy was never able to mount a challenge after crowding at the first bend in the A7 at 11-51. She was beaten three and a quarter lengths by the winner Tyrur Celena who is trained by Claude Gardiner. Shyan Zippy clocked 31.11 (-20) 30.91 calculated in 4th place.

Watch Matt was slow away and crowded at the first bend in the A6 at 12-08. He finished in 5th place despite working his way into a challenging position around the last two bends! ‘Matt’ clocked 30.95 (-20) 30.75 calculated three and a half lengths behind the Dean Childs trained winner Bersheda Hawk.

The A6 at 12-39 was a tight affair with just three lengths covering all six dogs at the line! The unlucky Droopys Brody was the backmarker clocking 30.95 (-20) 30.75 calculated after hitting the rails! Swift Messi fared slightly better than his kennel mate and finished in 4th place after taking up the running at the 3rd bend and suffering crowding on the run-in. ‘Lionel’ clocked 30.88 (-20) 30.68 calculated two and a quarter lengths behind the Paul Garland trained winner High Hawk.

Balldorgan Rose came in as reserve for the A9 at 1-11 and ran away with the race winning by five lengths! Coolavanny Keira was crowded at the first bend and again on the run in and was beaten over twelve lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner clocking 31.60 (-20) 31.40 calculated in 5th place.

Granson Luca has been in very good form lately and ran another sound race in the A8 at 1-27. He held every chance and was beaten only 1/2 a length by the Jason Heath trained winner Ballytag Ella clocking 30.95 (-20) 30.75 calculated in 3rd place. Blazing Swallow was slow away and finished 5th clocking 31.23 (-20) 31.03 calculated four lengths behind the winner.
