Druids Gaffney (Gaffy)
Druids Gaffney made his race debut at Harolds Cross in October 2011 and had just 30 races in a short career. An injury sustained at Coventry in May 2013 ended his racing days and he now enjoys a fabulous retired life with Terry and Frances Cooper in Bath, Somerset. The August 2009 son of Westmead Hawk out of the dam Druids Smokey won 4 races over hurdles. Two H2 hurdle wins at Wimbledon and Two Open Race hurdle wins at Sittingbourne. He competed at the highest level on the hurdle scene and ran in 22 open races! Terry reports that “Gaffy is thoroughly enjoying his retired life”.
