“Baby Sky” Times It Right This Time!
‘BABY SKY’ GETS UP LATE FOR HER 11th HOVE WIN!

Baby Sky – 11th Hove Win for the daughter of Head Bound
Because of her style of running BABY SKY is often beaten by the narrowest of margins! She tends to get behind early but always finishes her races with a late burst! She had gone almost a year without a win, as her last success was back in December 2013, but she got back to winning ways in the A6 at 12-58 timing her challenge perfectly to nab her kennel mate Judicial Babe on the line! The September 2010 daughter of Head Bound, pride and joy of Jackie Thomas and the Jaytee Syndicate, was crowded at the 1/4 mark but ran on well to get up on the line and win by a short head! Baby Sky clocked 31.19 (-60) 30.59 calculated when winning for the 11th time at Hove. Four Irish wins at Drumbo Park give her a career total of 15 wins! Judicial Babe ran well in 2nd place, leading to near the line, she clocked 31.20 (-60) 30.60 calculated for a kennel one two!
How Our Other Runners Fared
Our two runners both ran well in the A8 at 12-12. Shyan Zippy ran on well after a slow start to finish one and a half lengths behind the race winner Gregs Fury who is trained by Doreen Walsh. ‘Zippy’ clocked 31.60 (-60) 30.00 calculated in 2nd place! Ballymac Benefit suffered crowding and stumbled on the run-in and did well to grab 3rd place clocking 31.62 (-60) 31.02 calculated just under two lengths behind the winner.
Hands Over Eyes was crowded and baulked in the A7 at 12-27 and finished four lengths behind the Claude Gardiner trained winner Watch Me Wiggle. Hands Over Eyes clocked 31.78 (-60) 31.18 calculated in 3rd place. Kennel mate Droopys Bertha was badly baulked and finished 6th clocking 31.84 (-60) 31.24 calculated five lengths behind the winner.
Avit On Elsie has been in good form recently but she was unable to show her best in the A6 at 12-41 after being baulked at the first bend. ‘Elsie’ clocked 31.48 (-60) 30.88 calculated in 4th place four lengths behind the Derek Knight trained winner Last Legs.
Coolscart Hawk was trying to follow up last weeks win and did well running on strongly to finish in 3rd place in the A5 at 1-12. Clocking 31.09 (-60) 30.49 calculated the ‘Hawk’ was beaten just under two lengths by the Maria Collins trained winner Our Swift Girl.
Coologue Gem was sent off the 9/4 favourite for the A3 at 1-28. She was crowded early but ran on well to finish 2nd clocking 31.24 (-60) 30.64 calculated when beaten just over a length by the Ken Tester trained winner Ardbeg Sue.
