SIXTEENTH HOVE WIN FOR ‘BALLYMAC BENEFIT’

Winner

BALLYMAC BENEFIT ended a losing run of twelve races when winning the A8 at 1-58. The June 2010 daughter of Burnpark Champ was sent off the 9/4 favourite and led from the third bend to beat the Dean Childs trained Prim Everdeen by almost two lengths. Owned by the Power Of Seven Syndicate Ballymac Benefit clocked 31.06 (-40) 30.66 calculated when winning her 16th race at Hove. With 3 Wimbledon wins on her card she takes her tally to 19 career wins!

How Our Other Runners Fared

Baby Sky ran very well in the A5 at 1-27 and only failed by 1/2 a length to follow up her latest win. Baby Sky and the Claude Gardiner trained Awbeg Lady stayed on well to peg back long time leader Silkey Suil on the run-in but our kennel runner had to settle for 2nd spot! Baby Sky clocked 30.71 (-40) 30.31 calculated.

Miss McCann was slow away and baulked at the 1/4 mark in the A4 at 10-53 and never recovered finishing in 6th place. She clocked 31.13 (-40) 30.73 calculated five and a half lengths behind the Doreen Walsh trained winner Old Grand Dog.

Our two runners in the A7 at 12-08 both finished in the rear! Droopys Bertha was baulked at the second bend and clocked 31.37 (-40) 30.97 calculated in 5th place just over seven lengths behind the race winner Len The Brummie who is trained by Ken Tester. Kennel mate Hands Over Eyes was slow away and crowded at the first bend. He finished 6th clocking 31.49 (-40) 31.09 calculated almost nine lengths behind the winner.

Judicial Babe was prominent in the A6 at 12-57 and led from the 3/4 mark to the run-in. She only tired in the last strides and finished 4th clocking 31.21 (-40) 30.81 calculated just under two lengths behind the Jason Heath trained winner Ballytag Ella.

Mikeys Guest was unable to make a challenge in the A7 at 1-44 and clocked 31.55 (-40) 31.15 calculated when finishing 6th just under eight lengths behind the Jason Heath trained winner Sarasota Pearl.

Saturday 29th November HOVE Runners

Twice a winner at Swindon Ballymac Tonya makes her Hove debut in the D1 sprint at 7-31. Where  Fairhill Frankie returns to action after a month on the side-lines!

Speak Out Lilly was beaten just a neck last time out and gets a drop in grade for the A9 at 7-46. A winner five times during late summer Granson Luca has been unable to match that form recently.

The Racing Clubs improving youngster Leathems Desire was a good winner on Wednesday and re-appears in a competitive D1 sprint at 8-34.

There’s a Hove debut for the Mike and Martin McKinley owned Anmima Madam in the D2 sprint at 9-07. On Your Lonesome lines up for only the second time since returning from injury.

Droopys Michigan is put up a grade for his smart win last time but the May 13 youngster should still run well in the A3 at 10-13.

Avit On Elsie has enjoyed recent winning form! She has climbed the grades for that success and will have to be at her best in a tightly graded A6 at 10-30.
