Big Night Out update and do’s and don’ts
Mad-dog Maunders asks for this message to be passed on.
We have 104 bookings for the night and this is now confirmed as our final number as far as the norahmac booking is concerned. The co-ordinators would like to thank everyone for their support – it’s a great turn out for our first ‘Big Do.’
Those not yet booked, but wishing to join us, are advised to book through central reservations and ask to be seated as close to the norahmac group as is possible. If you are Wimbledon owners don’t forget to quote your number to claim the 25% discount. We are situated at the front of the restaurant by the window area.
‘Bubbles’ negotiated an additional bottle of wine per table inclusive in the price to allow for the anomoly that has left us charged at £25 per head. Whether you are a ‘drinker’ or not please take advantage of the two bottles per table offer – I’m sure it won’t be wasted.
It won’t be easy on the night regarding seating arrangements. Bubbles will do what she can to please everybody but remember it will be a long evening and members will be encouraged to circulate as proceedings develop.
If you are seated with a stranger, or even someone who is strange, then don’t be shy and share your dreams of winning next year’s Derby to break the ice. If you are seated near a member-to-be then take the opportunity to close the sale given they aren’t going very far for the next few hours!
When mad-dog tells his joke, please laugh – it just makes the evening go more smoothly.
Take part in presentations as you see fit – within reason, the more the merrier. It’s exclusively ladies for the Ladies Love It race.
Make lots of noise if we have a winner.
Enjoy yourselves!!!!!!!
