Mustang Blitz secured his place in the National Sprint Semi-Finals when finishing 3rd in Heat 2 at Nottingham last night. Sent off the 4/5 favourite he clocked 18.40 (-30) 18.10 calculated when beaten two and three quarter lengths by the John Walton trained winner Flashing Bolt.

His chance of qualification was gone at that moment and he finished in 5th place clocking 18.76 (-30) 18.46 calculated just over eight lengths behind the Charlie Lister trained winner Tiermana Power.

Swift Messi – Still Enjoying His Racing!
Veteran Swift Messi will be looking for his 24th career win when he lines up for the D2 Sprint at 2-08.
Monleek Diamond ran well behind the in-form Baby Sky last outing and should go well in the A5 at 3-07.
Droopys Bertha is without a win since early September but she will be trying to add to her 9 Hove wins in the A8 at 3-28.
Ballymac Tonya and Glenvale Stevie both suffered crowding on their last runs but they could each play a part in the D1 Sprint at 4-27 if getting clear runs!
Avit On Elsie will try and skip the field in the A6 at 5-22. Connections will be hoping she can hold on to the winning line!
Judicial Babe runs in the A6 at 5-38. She was well beaten after a slow break last time but she was in good form previous to that run!
Blazing Swallow is put up in grade for her latest win and lines up in the A7 at 5-56.
