Wednesday 10th December HOVE Report

It was another great effort from veteran Swift Messi as he ran on strongly in the D2 Sprint at 2-08. Sadly ‘Lionel’ just failed to catch the Derek Knight trained 7/4 favourite Milosam going down by a neck! A 6/1 chance Swift Messi clocked 16.87 (-10) 16.77 calculated in 2nd place!

Droopys Bertha was crowded at the first and fourth bends in the A8 at 3-28 but ran on well enough and was only beaten one length by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Gemini Dancer. ‘Bertha’ clocked 31.11 (-20) 30.91 calculated finishing in 3rd place!

Glenvale Stevie was sent off the 2/1 favourite but suffered crowding in the D1 Sprint at 4-27. However he ran on well to finish 2nd to the Seamus Cahill trained winner Derrane Nick. ‘Stevie’ clocked 16.72 (-10) 16.62 calculated finishing two and a half lengths behind the winner. Ballymac Tonya was a 10/1 chance but she was slow away clocking 16.97 (-10) 16.87 calculated in 6th place beaten five and a half lengths by the winner.

Avit On Elsie was 5/2 joint favourite for the A6 at 5-22. She showed good early pace but ran very wide and was finally beaten five lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Kilmurry Luke. ‘Elsie’ clocked 31.29 (-20) 31.09 calculated in 6th place.

Judicial Babe was crowded at the 1/4 mark and third bend in the A6 at 5-38. She clocked 31.27 (-20) 31.07 calculated finishing in 6th place beaten six lengths by the race winner Droopys Nasa who is trained by Wendy Short.

Blazing Swallow was quick away in the A7 at 5-56 but she was crowded at the 1/4 mark and beaten five and a half lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Riverside Belle. Blazing Swallow clocked 31.24 (-20) 31.04 calculated in 6th place.
