Club Favourite ‘Horse Outside’ Retired!
Horse Outside – Making himself at home!
Horse Outside will enjoy his retirement with Norah Mac Racing Club member Terry Cooper and his wife Frances in Bath, Somerset. He will ‘team’ up with another of Norah’s ex-racers Druids Gaffney who Terry re-homed in 2013. Terry collected ‘Gino’ last Sunday and reported that he has settled in nicely!
A winner of 19 races and finishing 2nd 14 times in his 113 race career HORSE OUTSIDE was a real favourite with Norah Mac Racing Club members! The September 2009 son of True Honcho out of the dam Ballymac Ria picked up an injury at the end of October and Norah decided in the interest of Gino’s welfare that it was the right time for his retirement! Purchased at the Hall Green sales in 2011 Horse Outside started his Club career racing at Wimbledon. He started at Plough Lane in A4 grade working up to top class and winning an A1 in November 2011. He won 5 times at the Don before the move to Hove. He didn’t get off to the best of starts at the sea-side track falling on his debut but he went on to win 13 times including one win at Open level where he was the 20/1 outsider much to the delight of Club members!

Races 113 Tralee win 1 Wimbledon wins 5 Hove wins 13
