GLENPADDEN BOLT BREAKS SITTINGBOURNE 450 METRE TRACK-RECORD!

After clocking the fastest 450 metre time at Sittingbourne (this year) when winning last Sunday GLENPADDEN BOLT produced the run of his life to follow up at Central Park last night smashing the track-record of 27.10 set by Jacks Back in July 2010 by seven spots! GLENPADDEN BOLT set a new clock at 27.03 with a stunning run in the Sittingbourne Mini Standard Open race winning by almost three lengths!

Congratulations to Norah and the kennel team for the brilliant win of GLENPADDEN BOLT who set a new track-record at Sittingbourne last night! Congratulations also to his owners Debbie Williams and Mick McCrory who are great supporters of the kennel and deserve this success! Sent off the 6/4 second favourite the May 2011 son of Droopys Scolari was quick away and took up the running at the 3/4 mark before extending away to beat the Heather Dimmock trained Farley Champ by almost three lengths! Glenpadden Bolt clocked 27.03 (normal) when winning for the 2nd time for his new kennel.

Avit On Charlie was sent off the 6/4 favourite for the Sittingbourne Super Standard (Div2) Open race and showing good early pace led from the 3/4 mark to the run-in but he was pegged back by the James Hayton trained winner Lowgate Onyx who won by two and a quarter lengths. ‘Charlie’ clocked 30.70 (normal) in 2nd place!

Garrison Madrid was the 25/1 outsider for the Sittingbourne Standard (Div 2) Open race over 480 metres but she endured a rough ride and was beaten a distance by the Heather Dimmock trained winner Wotnofizz and finished in 5th place after being bumped at the first bend the 1/4 mark and again at the second bend!

Ballymac Clea was a 10/1 shot for the Sittingbourne Hurdle Open race over 480 metres but she was bumped in the straight and again at the 3/4 mark and finished almost twelve lengths behind the Jason Foster trained winner Scolari Express. ‘Clea’ clocked 30.60 (normal) in 5th place.

Ballymac Marine suffered bumps at the first and second bends in the Sittingbourne Standard (Div 1) Open race over 480 metres and was beaten almost nine lengths by the Gemma Coney trained winner Data Romeo. ‘Ted’ clocked 30.02 (normal) back in 6th place.

Ballymac Chindit was slow away in the Sittingbourne Sprint Open race over 265 metres and was bumped at the first bend and was beaten just over six lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Express Max. Ballymac Chindit clocked 16.92 (normal) finishing in 4th place.

Viscount Rambler was due to run in the Sittingbourne Super Standard (Div 1) over 500 metres last night but the race was declared Void!

SUNDAY LUNCH-TIME CARD – HOVE REPORT!

Sunday 28th December HOVE Report

Intayacynthia was the 10/1 outsider for the A8 at 11-11 but she held every chance and was only beaten two lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Riverside Kitty. Intayacynthia clocked 31.18 (-20) 30.98 calculated when finishing in 5th place.

Judicial Babe was crowded at the first bend in the A6 at 11-28 but still managed to finish in 3rd place. She clocked 31.01 (-20) 30.81 calculated when beaten five and a half lengths by the race winner Hollyoak Spud who is trained by Ken Tester. Coolscart Hawk replaced the withdrawn Avit On Elsie for this race but he was slow away and badly bumped at the first bend! The ‘Hawk’ clocked 31.15 (-20) 30.95 calculated in 6th place beaten just over seven lengths by the winner.

Lochys Blue Boy was a 14/1 chance for a top quality Hove Sprint Open race at 12-41 and despite finishing 6th he was not disgraced when beaten four and a half lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Who Needs Pace. Lochys Blue Boys chance was not helped when very slow away and crowded at the second bend and again on the run-in and he clocked 16.82 (-10) 16.72 calculated.

Droopys Michigan was the 20/1 outsider for the 474 Metre Open race at 12-58 and needed everything to go in his favour! However he was always behind when crowded from the 1/4 mark to the second bend and finished in 6th place clocking 28.35 (-20) 28.15 calculated when beaten six lengths by the Paul Young trained winner Bubbly Rocket.
