NORAH MAC RUNNERS ON THE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON HOVE CARD!
Wednesday 7th January 2015 – HOVE Runners
Lochys Blue Boy drops back into D1 grade after four runs at Open level. He runs in the opening sprint at 2-08.
Swift Debbie put in a below par effort on her latest run but she has won two of her last four races! She runs in the A5 at 2-47.
Sizzlers Big Boy is up in grade for his latest win. He runs in the A6 at 3-07 and is a winner of three of his last four races!
Mineola Prof runs in the A3 at 3-48. He was a beaten favourite on his last run but still clocked a decent time!
The very consistent veteran Swift Messi should run well in the D2 sprint at 4-08. Kennel mate Abbeys Zenyatta will be looking to show improvement after being well beaten on her last two runs in this grade.
Youngster Anmima Madam runs in the A9 at 4-27. She has only run five times at Hove and is still gaining experience!
Intayacynthia finished 5th on her last run but was not beaten that far! She could just run well in the A8 at 5-22.
Release The Ace runs in the A6 at 6-11. He has been running well recently and is rarely out of the first three!

Springbok hopefuls get
a Wimbledon reminder
BALLYMAC CLEA, who heads the first set of standings for the 2015 William Hill Springbok, appears in Saturday’s first trial stakes for the Wimbledon competition.
Norah McEllistrim’s dog, who posted a calculated 29.76sec over the 480m Plough Lane jumps course on December 17, runs from trap two in the first warm-up race for the popular annual and will do battle with leading local novices Julius George (Tony Taylor) and Caddie Man (Bernie Doyle). Razldazl Clyde also runs for the McEllistrim kennel.
And in what is the first significant week in terms of preparation for the competition, the racing office has reminded trainers that any Springbok hopefuls must have completed a satisfactory trial at any GBGB venue by this Thursday. As in previous years, the first round (Saturday February 21) will comprise the fastest 36 qualifers over Wimbledon’s 480m jumps course prior to the competition closing date, which this year is Wednesday, February 18.
