‘Kizi’ Is Fine After “Post- Race” Tumble!
Viewers of Racing Post Greyhound T.V. will have noticed KIZI take a fall after the race last night. Assistant trainer Gemma Byford reported this morning that Kizi is absolutely fine and the reason for the fall was due to cramping! Gemma stated “Norah will book him into Daniel Doherty for a blood test as a precaution but he is very lively this morning and almost pulled me over for his breakfast!”

Kizi disputed the lead early but was unable to maintain the pace and finished 4th in the GALA CORAL SPRINT Open race last night. It was a good effort and he clocked 16.79 (-25) 16.54 calculated holding every chance when beaten three lengths by the Derek Knight trained winner Maireads Bel. Kennel mate Collinstown View was crowded at the first bend and finished in 6th place clocking 16.96 (-25) 16.71 calculated five lengths behind the winner.

Ballymac Benefit was 3rd in the A6 at 9-56 but was beaten over nine lengths by the race winner Armchair Piemiss (30.24 calc.) who is trained by Seamus Cahill. Ballymac Benefit was crowded at the second and fourth bends and clocked 31.31 (-30) 31.01 calculated!
Princess Pati was sent off the 5/2 favourite for the A4 at 10-26 but could only manage 5th place after suffering crowding at the first and third bends. ‘Pati’ clocked 30.93 (-30) 30.63 calculated when beaten five lengths by the Derek Knight trained winner Questhouse Aura.
