A quicker break could well have seen Ballymac Chindit stride to victory in the SITTINGBOURNE SPRINT FINAL Open race at Central Park last night! The December 2012 son of Ace Hi Rumble stayed on strongly and only failed by 1/2 a length to peg back race winner Insane Pace who is trained by George Andreas. After making a slow start Ballymac Chindit ran on well to challenge on the run-in clocking 16.64 (+5) 16.69 calculated in 2nd place!

Viscount Rambler has been in very good form lately and he put up another good performance in the SITTINGBOURNE SUPER STANDARD Open race. The ‘Rambler’ was slightly crowded at the first bend but ran on well to finish 2nd to the Kevin Hutton trained winner Jolly Redeye. Viscount Rambler clocked 30.31 (+10) 30.41 calculated when beaten three and a half lengths by the winner.

Ballymac Marine has been a bit unlucky in running on his last couple of outings. He showed good early pace in the SITTINGBOURNE STANDARD Open race but suffered crowding at the third bend and finished in 4th place behind the John Mullins trained winner Lann Jacob. Ballymac Marine clocked 29.66 (+10) 29.76 calculated and was beaten five lengths by the winner.
