Saturday Report From Wimbledon & Hove
There was quality action at Wimbledon in the Open races where we had runners and some stunning times clocked! Lenson Royale trained by Ricky Holloway clocked a superb 29.27 calculated in the Springbok Hurdle Trial Stakes (Div 1) where our RAZLDAZL CLYDE finished 2nd although beaten 10 lengths! The Hayley Keightley trained Roxholme Ted recorded a brilliant 28.45 calculated in the Wimbledon Standard (Div 1) in which our GLENPADDEN BOLT clocked a decent 28.78 calculated of his own!

William Hill Springbok 4th Trial Stakes Div 1 Going: – 10

Lenson Royale showed a brilliant display of pace and jumping to win the William Hill Springbok 4th Trial Stakes Div 1 Open race by a massive ten lengths clocking a superb 29.27 calculated! Razldazl Clyde ran well to follow him home clocking 30.18 (-10) 30.08 calculated. Sent off a 12/1 chance ‘Clyde’ got away smartly and followed the Ricky Holloway trained winner into the first bend but running wide he lost ground. Showing good pace down the back straight and jumping well ‘Clyde’ moved back into 2nd place but he could make no further headway into the impressive winners lead and finished in the runners-up spot.

A clash with Aghadown Cain in trap 6 probably cost Avit On Charlie the win in the Wimbledon Standard Div 2 Open race! He lost a fair bit of ground in that clash and was always playing catch-up. However he stayed on really well to finish 3rd and was beaten less than a length at the line clocking 29.20 (-10) 29.10 calculated behind the Ricky Holloway trained winner Its Showtime.

Glenpadden Bolt was an impressive winner last week but he had to settle for 3rd place this time when beaten by the Hayley Keightley trained winner Roxholme Ted who produced a powerfull run in the Wimbledon Standard Div 1 Open race clocking a brilliant 28.45 calculated! Glenpadden Bolt did nothing wrong and ran well clocking a decent 28.88 (-10) 28.78 calculated in 3rd place.

SATURDAY HOVE REPORT!
Saturday 31st January 2015 – HOVE Report
Abbeys Zenyatta fared best of our three runners in the D2 Sprint at 7-31 finishing in 3rd place behind the Seamus Cahill trained winner Who Needs Luck. She was quick away and held every chance clocking 16.94 (-15) 16.79 calculated when beaten just under four lengths by the winner. The Norah Mac Racing Clubs Droopys Tomford ran well on his debut finishing in 4th place. The September 13 pup was crowded at the first bend and again on the run-in. He clocked 16.99 (-15) 16.84 calculated and was beaten four and a quarter lengths by the winner. Swift Messi was sent off the 9/4 joint favourite but he suffered a similar fate as Droopys Tomford and clocked 17.01 (-15) 16.86 calculated just a head further back in 5th place.
Cellini showed good early pace and disputed the lead to the third bend in the A6 at 8-34. But sadly she was baulked and dropped back to finish in 4th spot behind the Wayne Wrighting trained winner Woodmancote Kidd. Cellini clocked 31.16 (-30) 30.86 calculated when beaten just over five lengths by the winner.
Fairhill Frankie was sent off an 8/1 shot for the D1 Sprint at 9-24 but he suffered crowding at half way and was beaten just over five lengths by the Paul Garland trained winner Your Decision. ‘Frankie’ clocked 16.84 (-10) 16.74 finishing in 3rd place.

Miss McCann runs in the A5 at 1-58. She only has the one win at Hove but the drop in grade could see her involved in the finish!
