Wednesday 11th February 2015 – HOVE Report
After making a slow start in the D2 Sprint at 2-08 Swift Messi was baulked at the first bend and with that his chance of victory was gone. To his credit he was beaten less than two lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Guinness Brave. Swift Messi clocked 16.87 (-10) 16.77 calculated finishing in 4th place.
Droopys Rives was beaten around eight lengths on his debut but he did show a good attitude! The July 13 pup was being leaned on and squeezed onto the rails but he did not shirk the issue that night although being held up! He confirmed that promise today when finishing 2nd in the D1 Sprint at 4-27. Showing good early pace and hugging the rails he clocked 16.55 (-5) 16.50 calculated when beaten a length and a half by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Geneva Des.
Our two runners for the D2 Sprint at 5-22 where sent off the outsiders for the contest! Lobelia was 10/1 in the market and although holding every chance she was beaten three lengths by the Jason Heath trained winner Dacent Hazard. Lobelia clocked 17.10 (-5) 17.05 calculated when finishing in 4th place. Kennel mate On Your Lonesome was a 12/1 shot but a slow break put paid to his chance. He clocked 17.20 (-5) 17.15 calculated when finishing in 5th place just over four lengths behind the winner.
Windy Warrior was returning from a long absence and was always likely to need the run. Being baulked at the first bend in the A9 at 6-11 did not help his cause and he was always behind. Windy Warrior clocked 31.60 (-10) 31.50 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten six and a half lengths by the winner Farleyhill Adam who is trained by Wayne Wrighting.

Classy Molly – Dropped in grade!
The Norah Mac Racing Clubs Classy Molly didn’t run too badly last time and will appreciate the drop in grade for the A8 at 3-48.
Mineola Prof was a beaten favourite last outing but still remains in good form for the A4 at 4-08.
Judicial Babe – Gets a drop in grade!
Well beaten on her last three runs Judicial Babe gets a drop in grade for the A8 at 4-27.
Fairhill Frankie was beaten but not disgraced in Open company at Sittingbourne last Sunday. He will be more of a threat in the D1 Sprint at 5-07.
Ballymac Tonya – Looking for first Hove win!
Ballymac Tonya is still looking for her first Hove success and could take advantage of the drop in grade for the A10 at 5-56.
Princess Pati is in good form and only failed to follow up her January 29th win when beaten a neck last time! She is in good heart and should again run well in the A4 at 6-11.
