Down Graded ‘Molly’ Goes Close At Hove!

The drop in grade for the A9 at 8-02 saw the Racing Clubs Classy Molly go close to getting back to winning ways! Baulked at the first bend and crowded at the second she was a shade unlucky not to win as she was beaten just 3/4 of a length by the Jason Heath trained winner Express Cupid. Sent off a 10/1 chance ‘Molly’ clocked 31.18 (-40) 30.78 calculated when running on well to finish in 3rd place!
Lobelia was the 14/1 outsider for the A7 at 8-51 but she was quick away and led to the third bend. She suffered crowding at the 3/4 mark as the field closed up and was finally beaten just under three lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Roaming Pearl. Lobelia clocked 31.41 (-40) 31.01 calculated when finishing in 5th place.
Beaten favourite on his last two runs 3/1 shot Sizzlerscheyenne had a chance to put put things right in the A3 at 9-07 but his supporters were out of luck again as he missed his break! Sizzlerscheyenne clocked 30.82 (-40) 30.42 calculated finishing in 4th place just over three lengths behind the winner Memyselfandi who is trained by Maria Collins.

Sizzlers Eagle didn’t get in the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby but he will make his presence felt in the D1 Sprint at 11-11. Six wins from ten runs he has won his last four races and looks a nice prospect!
Speak Out Lilly ran well on her latest appearance after stumbling at the start! She runs in the A6 at 11-28.
On Your Lonesome has not won for some time and has been sent off at big odds recently. He runs in the D2 Sprint at 11-42.
Abbeys Zenyatta just failed to get home on her first attempt at 515 metres. She will again use her good early pace to try and slip the field in the A9 at 12-12.
