Glenpadden Bolt 4

Glenpadden Bolt was slow away in Heat 5 of the Calne Racing ARC competition which got under way at Swindon last night! You could argue that slow break cost him a semi-final place as he was only 3/4 of a length off the 3rd placed Lann Jacob at the line and that 3rd place would have seen him go through! Morning favourite Droopys Norris was a non-runner in this Heat and Swift Kidman came in as reserve to run from trap 3. Glenpadden Bolt clocked 29.10 (Normal) when finishing in 4th place two and a half lengths behind the race winner Droopys Jarrow who is trained by Seamus Cahill. The Lynn Cook trained Bromwich Tom finished in 2nd place and the John Mullins trained Lann Jacob qualified in 3rd place!

It was the same story for Kizi at Wimbledon! A slow start followed by crowding left him with a hopeless task in the Wimbledon 273 Sprint Open race and he finished in 5th place clocking 16.53 (Normal) beaten four and a half lengths by Bernie Doyle’s impressive winner Griffin Park (16.16).

Saturday 18th April 2015  –  HOVE Report

It was good to see Zara Two back on the card having last raced in November 2014 . He stumbled at the start and was crowded at the first bend in the D1 Sprint at 9-07. Zara Two clocked 17.05 (-15) 16.90 calculated when finishing in 4th place beaten five lengths by the Ken Tester trained winner Due A Change.

Listry Ace ran well to finish 2nd in the A8 at 9-41. She was quick away and held every chance when beaten 3/4 of a length by the winner Tyrur Celena who is trained by Claude Gardiner. Listry Ace clocked 30.85 (-20) 30.65 calculated in the runners-up spot! Kennel mate Lobelia didn’t run badly when finishing 4th. She clocked 30.93 (-20) 30.73 calculated and was less than two lengths behind the winner!

Glenvale Stevie is running as well as ever! He clocked a very fast 16.38 (-10) 16.28 calculated when 2nd in the D1 Sprint at 10-13 and was only beaten a ‘short-head’ by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Geneva Des.

A win for Satellite Fever surely cannot be far off! He has put in some good efforts since his return from injury and there was another good performance from him last night in the A3 at 10-30. Despite being baulked at the first bend Satellite Fever was beaten less than two lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Tadys Robin and clocked 30.75 (-20) 30.55 calculated finishing in 3rd place!
