A quiet week for runners upcoming with Wendy (Hanover Lady) our sole representative.

The good news is that Wendy gets a favour from the grader with a drop down to A3, the 9.30 on Saturday. Boxed in red, Wendy’s trademark ping would likely be enough to see off her rivals, the main danger being the Brinkley-owned youngster in five who will be staying on from the final bend. For betting purposes a saver on the forecast might be a prudent move.

Good luck to club members Mick and Debbie who have the thrill of a runner in the Category Two Coronation Cup Final at Romford, Wednesday (18th) – live on channel 231 at 9.45pm. Fingers crossed for Dave (Rathglass Hero).

Diary dates for socials:

Saturday March 10th for our First Anniversary celebration. This will be at Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium – probably along the lines of our September party. Further details to follow.

Sunday May 6th (Bank Holiday Weekend) – Wimbledon Greyhound Owners Annual Dinner and Greyhound Trophy night.

Many Norahmac club members and owners regularly attend this annual social highlight. It’s a right ‘good do’ with the addition of many videos of our greyhounds’ achievements shown on the night and presentations for the top dogs.
