Wednesday 8th July 2015 – HOVE Report
Winners
Watch Matt – A 12/1 Winner!
WATCH MATT had gone a year without winning until his success on the 25th April rewarding his patient owners Debbie Williams and Mick McCrory. Although sent off the 12/1 outsider for the D2 Sprint at 2-08 the July 2010 son of Kinloch Brae popped in again today! He has put in some fair efforts lately and reversed the form with Glaise Spice who finished ahead of him last time! After making a slow start the veteran led at half way beating the Maria Collins trained Swift Batten by a length! Watch Matt clocked 16.89 (Normal) when winning his 10th race at Hove. It was a 17th career win for the ‘brindle’ as he also has 7 wins at Hall Green on his card! Glaise Spice did well to finish just two lengths behind the winner after finding ‘loads’ of trouble in running! He showed good early pace but was baulked at the first and second bends. He was also crowded on the run-in and the 6/1 chance clocked 17.06 (Normal) when finishing in 4th place!

Data Olly – Back to winning ways!
DATA OLLY was in cracking form during May winning 3 times! He climbed the grades for that success and drew a blank in the month of June but the June 2013 son of Head Bound returned to form when winning the A5 at 5-56. Sent off the 9/4 favourite he ran on well to get up on the line to beat the Derek Knight trained Maui Lahaina by 3/4 of a length! Owned by Andy Bradstock and Corrine Bradstock Data Olly clocked a decent 30.34 (+10) 30.44 calculated when winning for the 5th time at Hove!
How Our Other Runners Fared
The Norah Mac Racing Clubs Independent Jack again showed good early pace and led to the third bend in the A6 at 2-27. However the August 13 son of Kinloch Brae was unable to keep up the gallop and finished in 5th place clocking 30.96 (Normal) when beaten just over five lengths by the Wayne Wrighting trained winner Woodmancote Jet.
Kilcommon was sent of the 5/2 co-favourite of three for the A11 at 2-47 and he stayed on well to make his challenge on the run-in! He failed by just a short-head to peg back the Seamus Cahill trained winner Sister Minnie. Kilcommon clocked 31.23 (Normal) in the runners-up spot!
Kizi ran well when finishing 3rd in the D1 Sprint at 5-22. He suffered crowding on the run-in and clocked 16.65 (+5) 16.70 calculated when beaten two lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Brother Harry.
Mineola Prof was well beaten in the A4 at 6-11 after suffering crowding on the run-up and at the first bend! He clocked 30.86 (+10) 30.96 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten just over nine lengths by the Ken Tester trained winner Ballymac Cai.
