Sheila Joel, vice-chairman of the BGOA (Brighton Greyhound Owners Association) has supplied us with terms and conditions for membership of the Association.

This being Hove’s equivalent to WGOA, they offer a voice for Owners,  regular trophy nights as well as an internet forum (a link to which is on the right hand side of this website page).

The membership fees are as follows:

Owners of greyhounds with one named owner… £10

Owners (partnerships) of greyhounds with two to four named owners… £20

Syndicate named dogs … £20 per individual syndicate.

All the above may own more than one dog in that particular name(s) and it remains a ‘single’ fee. Different names though mean an additional fee even if they’re an amalgam of existing members. This is the same as it was with WGOA.

The Norahmac Racing Club counts as a single syndicate so all club-owned dogs are covered with a single syndicate fee of £20.

Membership runs until December 31st.
