Following a below par run last week, Norah is having  Lenny (Droopys Leonard) blood tested.  Our hard-working boy is also going to have a short well-earned rest, following a very busy summer.

Oscar (lLima Oscar) benefits from a quick return to A6 company in the 3.07pm on Wednesday. The May ’09 has a slow starter on his inside which should enable a safe passage in the earlier stages.  On balance of form Oscar looks to have decent podium prospects.

Thursday evenings Open race card has Wendy (Hanover Lady) competing in a division of the Sprint Open at 7.46pm.  Berthed way out in five it’s hard to make any kind of case for our blue.  Fingers crossed she completes a trouble free round.

Friday’s lunchtime card has Horse Outside taking a poke at an A3 at 12.58pm.  Given the grade and his draw, our September ’09 lad will need to be at his best and have luck in running to nab any kind of medal.

Oscar (Lima Oscar) returns to duty on Saturday’s card, contesting an A6 at 9.07pm. Our lad gave himself a bit of a fright with a very sharp start in Wednesday’s race – that said he took no chances thereafter, clocking a ‘steady as he goes’ 30.52 to accept the silver medal.  Oscar isn’t one for the limelight unless the mood takes him.  Can’t blame him for that though, can you?
