The image below is the celebration at Hove earlier this month with Wendy winning yet another top grade sprint, and this time getting a trophy for her efforts much to the delight of the attending Norahmac club members!

Well done to Oscar (Oscar Lima) who has secured a place in this week-end’s valuable Owners Trophy Bonus (A7 level). It’s one hundred pounds run money and £500 and a lovely trophy for the winner!

Our new girl Leah (Memories Leah) has now completed her trials and is ‘on the card.’

Our youngster had a rather unfortunate time in Monday’s trial with another of the dogs suffering an ultimately fatal injury in the early stages of the event.

It’s reported that Leah and Norah’s other runner were somewhat thrown by the confusion and abnormality of events and they each recorded below par times.

Wendy (Hanover Lady) had a look at the Sittingbourne circuit in a trial for the forthcoming BAGS Inter-track Championship.  A very valuable and exciting event covered in the betting shops, run on a regional basis with the national finals at Perry Barr on December 23rd.

The Hove racing manager elects a team from the track, which will hopefully include Wendy,  against Sittingbourne and Crayford in our ‘region’

There is a meeting at each track in the region with the winning team going forward to Perry Barr on the 23rd December.

It’s not until Friday that club dogs take to the Nevill Road sands. The brunch BAGS card, though, features two of our representatives.

The A4 at 11.57, has Lenny (Droopys Leonard) boxed in stripes in a pretty hot heat. There are a couple of improvers in the line up and Lenny will need to put his best paw forward to land the spoils.

In the following contest, the D1 at 12.12, Wendy (Hanover Lady) has every chance to grab some glory, given the red box and her continuing fine form.

SENSATIONAL SATURDAY!!!!!!!

It’s a biggie for us on the 27th. On a sponsored card we have; debutante Leah (Memories Leah), A3, 9.07pm, Owners Bonus Finalist, Oscar (Lima Oscar), at 9.24, and Horse Outside in a sponsored A3 at 9.41pm.

Whilst our team don’t have outstanding chances, all are definitely in with a shout in a thrilling hour’s worth of races for the club and the kennel.
