SIZZLERS DIAMOND was 6/4 joint-favourite for a HOVE MAIDEN Open race over 515 metres on the 18th August where he clocked 30.84 calculated when finishing 3rd beaten just a length by Wideawakejohn. The March 14 son of Head Bound was a 7/2 chance back in graded action for an A1 last Saturday. Despite finding trouble at the first bend he clocked 30.59 calculated when finishing 2nd beaten three and a half lengths by Slaheny King and he is given a drop in grade for the A2 at 3-28.

SPIDERMAN led at the first bend to clock 16.48 (Normal) when beating Jackals Pavlova by 1/2 a length in a D1 Sprint on the 10th August! The June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay was a 5/2 chance for a D1 Sprint on the 19th August and clocked 16.55 calculated leading to the run-in when 2nd beaten just a ‘neck’ by Starchill Oak. He was made 7/4 favourite for a D1 Sprint on the 24th August where he showed good early pace and led all the way when beating Guinness Sun by 1/2 a length! Spiderman clocked an impressive 16.38 (Normal) when winning his 8th race at Hove and lines up for the D1 Sprint at 4-27.

BABY GOLD 3

BABY GOLD  

BABY GOLD ran on well after suffering first bend crowding in an A7 on the 24th August to clock 31.28 calculated when finishing in 3rd place beaten just over three lengths by Maireads Mist. The February 13 daughter of Droopys Scolari was a 5/1 chance for an A7 last Saturday and she got back to winning ways when producing a gutsy effort to beat Glencorbry Cara by 3/4 of a length! Baby Gold stayed on late and got up close to home clocking 30.82 calculated when winning her 7th race at Hove! She is put up in grade for the A6 at 5-07 where she lines up with kennel mate DROOPYS TEQUILA who was up in trip for an A7 on the 13th August where the September 13 daughter of Droopys Scolari showed good early pace and led all the way when beating May It Be by 1/2 a length. Droopys Tequila clocked 30.79 (Normal) when winning her 6th race at Hove and was up in grade for an A6 on the 25th August. A 9/2 chance she was baulked at the third bend and clocked 31.32 (Normal) when finishing in 6th place beaten just over nine lengths by Shed End Chelsea.

BARNISH PETER clocked 30.75 (Normal) when finishing in 4th place beaten just over six lengths by Inislosky Mull on his return from injury in an A5 on the 24th August. The February 12 son of Top Honcho was a 5/1 chance lining up for an A5 last Saturday night and despite finishing in 5th place he held every chance clocking 31.06 calculated when beaten three lengths by Brickhill Jacksy. Barnish Peter lines up for the A5 at 5-38.
