Dave Staddon our unofficial treasurer and accounts man has Norahmac club passes through to October.  Dave is at the track most meetings and those who need a pass can get theirs from him.

It’s one pass per club member.  Additional passes or entrance can be organised through Norah for particular nights.

Racing Post Greyhound TV comes to Hove on Thursday with Jason Barrasford doing some roving reports, Hopefully we’ll collar him to give the club some deserved exposure and Norah has a host of runners on the all Open card.

Horse Outside put in a good trial on Monday and will be back on the card imminently, Memories Leah also trialed on her way back from season. She’s just a couple of weeks way from returning to action, and with her full sister posting a 30.20 clocking on May 2nd, we can be forgiven for eagerly anticpating our blue girl’s return to the track.

Classy Molly has a very minor injury and is out for a week or so.

Wendy (Hanover Lady) gets the week going for club runners with a tilt at the D1 at 12.12pm on Friday’s brunch card.  She’s boxed in three in an interesting contest featuring a couple of potentially useful newbies in traps one and four. Our blue girl will need a decent break as this isn’t a particularly soft heat though she still looks, on paper, to hold every chance of finishing in the money.

Saturday’s card provides Lenny (Droopys Leonard), berthed in six, with another poke at an A5, at 9.24pm.  Last week Lenny ran a little in and out, losing a very prominent pitch mid-race only to run on again once it was all over.

It’s possible he may have been caught in some false ground and anything as fast from the lids as last week, with his usual all round zest, would see our lad close enough come the jamstick.

On the comeback trail, following an absence dating back to mid-December, Horse Outside gets a red jacket for the A5 at 9.41pm. Our September ’09 lad is bound to be a little ring rusty but the grader has afforded him a little grace in a heat that would be within his compass given a modicum of fitness. It’s a fair make-up and ordinarily he’d be fancied but the fitness question has to moderate any betting interest.

Sunday’s card has Oscar (Lima Oscar) lining up for the A9 at 11.28. In his usual striped jacket, our son of Balintore Brave will need to hold his ground against the fast starter, Millridge Zena, scheduled to line up in trap five. At this level, should he be thereabouts turning for home, we can be hopeful of pretty much getting very close to the target.
