Unfortunately no hardware came the club’s way on Saturday, drawing a blank with our club runners. That said the kennel itself is in flying form with winners banging in at Nevill Road throughout last week’s meetings. Many of those winners owned in partnerships, syndicates or individually by club members – so still plenty of fun and interest for all Norahmac supporters.

Twitter is developing and we’re doing our best to maintain a factual and brief news stream on trial and runners details. Also we are going to add relevant race videos and pictures ongoing.

Followers who comment constructively (whether critically or not) will be retweeted to develop a community atmosphere on Norahmac’s twitter – well done Krystina, Julia and Debbie for getting the ball rolling.

Leah (Memories Leah) had her re introductory trials interrupted by a minor infection. She’s on the mend and is expected to return in the next week or two.

The grader shows some leniency for Horse Outside, giving our lad a poke at an A6 at 2.27pm on Wednesday’s card. It still looks a tough heat in the context of Horse’s form of late with pace all around him and none too clever a box in blue. Fingers crossed for a safe passage.

Molly (Classy Molly) also steps down a rung in the ladder, tackling A9 opponents in the finale at 6.11pm. Our September ’11 whelp has yet to catch the judge’s eye.  This heat features some fair types in the context of the standard and a four-box doesn’t inspire too much confidence in a trappy affair.

Oscar (Lima Oscar) gets a late entry for Friday’s card, contesting the A9 at 12.58pm. A rare wearing of the orange jacket this time which may not be too unfortunate with six generally a very wide runner and four not too sharp at the boxes.  So a fair frame for our wage-earning journeyman.

It could be a Norahmac forecast with the principal danger running from trap two in the shape of novice  Ballymac Debbie. This January ’12 whelp from a promising litter, part of the McSorry/Williams breeding empire, ran far better than her form suggests in her recent run and is a winner waiting to happen.

It’s a second bite of the cherry for Molly (Classy Molly) who takes her turn in the A9 at 11.28am on Sunday’s matinee card.  A decent break from the three box would see her go close. Her competitors on the outside tend to move off and she put in an improved performance on Wednesday, figuring prominently to claim the runner-up position. She’s knocking on the door and oughtn’t to be far away this time.
