AEGEAN DELIGHT  –  7 wins at Hove!

AEGEAN DELIGHT suffered ‘trouble’ in running when finishing in 6th place beaten just under seven lengths by Boherash Dazzle last Saturday but the August 14 daughter of Colorful Champ bounced back to form when winning the A5 at 11-28 today! Quick away she was never headed and beat the Claude Gardiner trained Gemini Sun by almost two lengths! Owned by Nick Brereton and Ian Farminer Aegean Delight clocked 30.67 (-10) 30.57 calculated when winning for the 7th time at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared

TIMBERLEE LAD was sent off the 12/1 outsider for the D2 Sprint at 11-57 where the April 14 son of Blackstone Gene failed to get a clear run! Baulked at the 1st bend and crowded on the run-in ‘Woody’ clocked 17.13 (-5) 17.08 calculated when finishing in 6th place beaten four and a half lengths by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Clairkeith Sofia.

SIZZLERSBARACUDA was a 5/1 chance for the A10 at 12-58 where the January 15 son of Farloe Barracuda was quick away and he led from the 1st bend to the run-in! Clocking  31.15 (-10) 31.05 calculated he finished in 3rd place beaten just 3/4 of a length by Julius Tallulah who is trained by Tony Taylor.

ASSERT was a 3/1 shot for the A9 at 1-28 where despite suffering crowding at the 1st bend the July 14 son of Skywalker Ace ran on well to finish in 2nd place! Clocking 30.98 (-10) 30.88 calculated he was beaten just 1/2 a length by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Surprise Me Baby.
