‘Fanore Flyer’ Shows His Best In Hove Win

WINNER
FANORE FLYER – his fastest time at Hove!
The in-form FANORE FLYER completed a superb Hove Sprint ‘hat-trick’ during May by beating Scarlet Seamist (D2), Liljaqs Girl (D2) and Swift Banzai up in D1 grade! The April 15 son of Vans Escalade was 2nd on his next two runs but he was soundly beaten on his latest start after finding ‘trouble’ at the 1st bend! Sent off the 9/4 joint-favourite for the D1 Sprint at 6-28 he bounced back to winning ways when leading all the way to beat the Derek Knight trained Burnpark Vic by just over a length! Owned by Steve Keay Fanore Flyer clocked 16.52 (-5) 16.47 calculated, his quickest time, when winning his 6th race at Hove! Kennel mate SIZZLERS APOLLO was the other 9/4 joint-favourite and the September 13 son of Droopys Scolari held every chance when finishing in 3rd place! Clocking 16.63 (-5) 16.58 calculated he was beaten a length and a half by the winner.

How Our Other Runners Fared
ASSERT was made 5/2 joint-favourite for the A8 at 6-44 but the July 14 son of Skywalker Ace blew his chance by making a very slow start! Running on well he finished in 3rd place clocking 30.95 (-10) 30.85 calc. when beaten just 3/4 of a length by Romeo Best Boy who is trained by Jason Heath.
FOREVER MICK was a 5/1 chance for the A5 at 7-16 but the June 15 son of Tullymurry Act was soon in trouble! Baulked at the 1st bend and again at the 3/4 mark ‘Micky’ clocked 31.14 (-10) 31.04 calculated when finishing in 5th place beaten nine lengths by the Seamus Cahill trained winner Crinkill Wonder.
