WINNERS

FANORE FLYER  –  has won 7 of his 15 races at Hove!

The in-form FANORE FLYER has an impressive strike rate at Hove and he made it 5 wins from his last 8 runs when winning the D1 Sprint at 2-08. The April 15 son of Vans Escalade clocked a very decent 16.47 calculated when leading all the way to beat Burnpark Vic by just over a length on his latest outing and was made 5/2 joint-favourite today! Showing good early pace he soon led and keeping on well held off the Wendy Short trained Wicket Taker by a neck! Owned by Steve Keay Fanore Flyer clocked 16.54 (Normal) when winning for the 7th time at Hove! FLACKWELL SPIRIT  beat Mineola Duke by two lengths last Saturday but the June 14 son of Taylors Sky was sent off a 10/1 shot! Holding every chance he clocked 16.66 (Normal) when finishing in 3rd place just a length and a half behind the winner! SIZZLERS APOLLO was a 5/1 chance but the September 13 son of Droopys Scolari found ‘trouble’ in running and finishing in 6th place he clocked 16.94 (Normal) when beaten five lengths by the winner.

‘BALIBO MAGS’ ENDS HER LONG LOSING RUN!

BALIBO MAGS  –  Back to winning ways!

BALIBO MAGS finally ended her 30 race losing run with victory in the A6 at 4-47. There is not a dog in the kennel who tries harder than little ‘Mags’ and she has finished runner-up 12 times since her last win way back in September last year! The July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga clocked 30.50 (Normal) when 2nd beaten just 3/4 of a length by Ascot Harry last Friday and she was sent off the 2/1 favourite today! Quick away ‘Mags’ always led when beating the Wayne Wrighting trained Suirview Boris by 1/2 a length! Owned by the delighted Norah Mac Racing Mags syndicate Balibo Mags clocked 30.66 (Normal) when winning for the 5th time at Hove!

How Our Other Runners Fared

REDSTAR POPPY was the 5/2 favourite for the A5 at 2-27 but the February 14 daughter of Kinloch Brae got held up at the 1st and 2nd bends after making a slow start! Clocking 31.14 (Normal) she finished in 5th place beaten just over seven lengths by Ruthless Savage who is trained by Wendy Short.

ASSERT was a 3/1 chance for the A8 at 2-47 where the July 14 son of Skywalker Ace ran on well to finish 3rd after taking a bump at the 1st bend! Clocking 31.12 (Normal) he was beaten just 3/4 of a length by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Getreadytorumble.  Kennel mate BALLYSTEEN STAR was an 8/1 shot but the July 14 daughter of Droopys Scolari suffered crowding at the 3rd bend! Finishing in 5th place she clocked 31.34 (Normal) when beaten three and a half lengths by the winner.

BALIBO RUBY was a 9/2 chance for the D2 Sprint at 3-28 but the July 14 daughter of Razldazl Rioga owned by the Norah Mac Racing Ruby syndicate was badly baulked at the 1st bend after making a slow start! Finishing in 5th place ‘Ruby’ clocked 17.14 (Normal) when beaten just under seven lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Roffey Bullet.

FOREVER MICK was a 9/2 shot for the A6 at 5-22 but he suffered crowding at the 1st bend which put paid to his chance! The June 15 son of Tullymurry Act clocked 30.86 (Normal) when finishing in 3rd place beaten three lengths by Westmead Winston who is trained by Tony Taylor.

MARYS BOY was a 10/1 chance for the D2 Sprint at 5-38 but the June 14 son of Razldazl Jayfkay made a slow start! Finishing in 5th place he clocked 17.06 (Normal) when beaten just over three lengths by the Doreen Walsh trained winner Ohmakneeliz.
