WINNER

SIZZLERS HAWK led all the way to beat Stellars Avenger by two lengths on his latest start and the July 14 son of Vans Escalade followed up that success when simply bolting up in the D1 Sprint at 2-08 today! Sent off the 6/4 favourite he was quick away and always led when beating the Claude Gardner trained Droopys Zigzag by just over three lengths! Owned by Dave & Joy Cook Sizzlers Hawk clocked 16.36 (Normal) when winning his 12th race at Hove! Kennel mate FANORE FLYER beat Burnpark Vic by just over a length and Wicket Taker by a neck on his last two outings and the April 15 son of Vans Escalade was a 7/2 chance to complete the treble! Sadly he was crowded at the 2nd bend after making a fast start and clocking 16.77 (Normal) he finished in 6th place beaten just over five lengths by the winner.

How Our Other Runners Fared

SIZZLERS GUNBOAT was the 5/2 favourite for the A6 at 2-47 where the September 15 son of Mall Brandy held every chance clocking 30.88 (Normal) when finishing in 4th place beaten just over two lengths by the Tony Taylor trained winner Cuties Bullet.

TIMBERLEE LAD was a 7/2 chance for the D3 Sprint at 5-07 where the April 14 son of Blackstone Gene ran on well to finish in 3rd place behind Sister Tootsie who is trained by Seamus Cahill. Clocking 16.84 (Normal) ‘Woody’ was beaten just 3/4 of a length by the winner!

MARCH ON MAX was sent off a 7/2 chance for the A6 at 5-38 where the October 13 son of Tullymurry Act put in a brave effort to finish in 3rd place! Despite finding ‘trouble’ in running ‘Max’ clocked 30.53 (Normal) when beaten just over a length by the Claude Gardiner trained winner Siobhans Fancy.

PALACE PRINCESS was a 5/1 shot for the A4 at 5-56 but the May 15 daughter of Godsend was soon in trouble! Baulked at the 1st bend and again at the 3rd she clocked 30.99 (Normal) when finishing in 6th place beaten just under six lengths by Pennys Tael  who is trained by Tony Taylor.
