WINNER

SIZZLERS APOLLO landed a 14th Hove win when beating Gemini Joker by a neck on the 14th March and the September 13 son of Droopys Scolari, who won a Wimbledon Open back in 2016, was sent off the 7/4 favourite for the D2 Sprint at 6-02. Showing good early pace he led at the 1st bend and shot clear to beat the Tony Taylor trained Scarlet Seamist by three and a half lengths! Owned by Dave Cook and Joy Cook ‘Sizzlers Apollo’ clocked 16.83 (-20) 16.63 calculated when winning his 15th race at Hove! TOKYO JOE was baulked at the 1st bend and again at 1/2 way. Clocking 17.61 (-20) 17.41 calculated he finished in 3rd place beaten just under ten lengths by the winner.

How Our Other Runners Fared

SPIDERMAN was unable to show his real power in the D1 Sprint at 2-52 and finishing in 5th place he clocked 17.17 (-15) 17.02 calculated when beaten just over six lengths by Stellars Avenger.

BALIBO BONNIE suffered crowding at 1/2 way in the D3 Sprint at 4-09 and clocking 17.54 (-20) 17.34 calculated she finished in 5th place beaten four lengths by Old Big Ears. Kennel mate SISTERS FRIEND was slow away and finishing in 6th place he clocked 17.69 (-20) 17.49 calculated when beaten just under six lengths by the winner.

Slow away in the D1 Sprint at 5-08 ANOTHER ME ran on well to finish in 3rd place! Clocking 16.90 (-20) 16.70 calculated ‘Monty’ was beaten just over four lengths by Droopys Noble.

STAR OF PARADISE was slow away and baulked at the 2nd bend in the A8 at 6-19. Clocking 31.71 (40) 31.31 calculated he finished in 6th place beaten seven lengths by Wheres Emma.
