SIZZLERS SPRING beat Mineola Lion by two and a half lengths in D4 grade last Thursday and was made a 4/1 chance to follow-up in the D3 at 1-17. Leading at the 2nd bend the April 16 daughter of Sparta Maestro kept on well to beat the Tony Taylor trained Corrin Nigel by two and a half lengths! Owned by the Exors of the late Dave Cook ‘Sizzlers Spring’ clocked 16.94 (-10) 16.84 calculated when winning her 10th race at Hove!

SIZZLERS JOY beat Woodmancote Jess in B1 grade at the end of November but was a well beaten 3rd behind Reckless Anne in an A3 last time! Sent off a 4/1 chance for the A3 at 2-39 the September 15 daughter of Head Bound led at the 3/4 mark and stayed on well to beat the Claude Gardiner trained Woodmancote Jaz by a length and a half! Owned by the Exors of the late Dave Cook and Dave Staddon ‘Sizzlers Joy’ clocked 30.34 (-30) 30.04 calculated when winning for the 7th time at Hove!

Our Runners Who Made The Frame

A 3/1 chance for the A10 at 10-14 BALLYSTEEN SKY was baulked at the 1/4 mark! Finishing in 3rd place he clocked 30.98 (-30) 30.68 calculated when beaten a length and a half by Batmans Girl.

CALS MADISON was a 9/2 shot for the A5 at 12-57 where he showed good early pace and disputed the lead! Clocking 30.89 (-20) 30.69 calculated he finished in 3rd place beaten 3/4 of a length by Imfootballtrigga.

Sent off the 9/4 favourite for the A5 at 2-19 BINGO WINGS LAD suffered crowding at the 3rd bend! Finishing in 2nd place he clocked 30.63 (-30) 30.33 calculated when beaten four and a half lengths by Punk Rock Pogo.
