MINEOLA LION led on the run-up and kept on well to beat the George Andreas trained Final Sauce by almost two lengths in A2 grade on the 13th July! Finishing 4th behind Ballymac Odie in an Open race at Romford on his latest start the April 18 son of Laughil Blake was sent off 9/4 favourite for the A2 at 6-09. Leading at the 1st bend he was clear at 1/2 way. Tiring near the line he held on to beat the Richard Rees trained
Da Honey Man by 1/2 a length! Owned by Steve Barton, Lesley Stocker,  Norah McEllistrim & Mike Owens ‘Mineola Lion’ clocked 29.67 (Normal) when winning for the 9th time at Hove!

MINEOLA ELEGANT ran on strongly to beat the Claude Gardiner trained Claudes Taylor by three and a half lengths in a D1 Sprint on the 6th July! She was 3rd to Ragtime Billy on her latest outing and the July 17 daughter of Zero Ten was sent off a 2/1 chance for the D1 at 6-58. Crowded at the 1st bend she led on the run-in to beat the Belinda Green trained Aghaburren Jack by 1/2 a length! Owned by Trevor Cooper and Dave Staddon ‘Mineola Elegant’ clocked 16.55 (Normal) when winning her 9th race at Hove!
