RARE BLANK FOR “TEAM MAC” AS ONLY SHYAN ZIPPY IS CLOSE TO A WIN!

Sunday HOVE Report

Shyan Zippy continues in good form and came the closest to winning of all our runners today. From a slow start, in the A9 at 11-28, she was crowded at the first bend but ran on well and was only 3/4 of a length adrift of the Claude Gardiner trained Leeview Rose at the line. Shyan Zippy clocked 31.03 (-10) 30.93 calculated in 2nd place.

Glenvale Rosie was doing her best work at the finish in the A11 at 11-11. She was slow away, crowded on the run-up, and then crowded at the first and second bends. “Rosie” clocked 31.39 (-10) 31.29 back in 3rd place.

Donnas Gift took a nasty tumble in the A6 at 11-42 when he was crowded and stumbled and fell at the first bend. He did not finish. Kennel representative Kate Aris reported from the track that it was a bad fall but he seems to be ok. Donnas Gift will be fully checked over when he returns to the kennel.

Westmead Louisa was slow away in the A10 Owners Bonus Series – Heat 2 at 12-12. Her chance of qualifying for next weeks Final was gone when she suffered crowding at the first bend! She clocked 31.19 back in 4th place on the Normal going.

Hanover Lady was lucky to stay on her feet when coming together with Rizzoli Brutus (who fell) at 1/2 way in the D1 Sprint at 1-12. Very badly bumped “Wendy” clocked 17.37 in 5th place on the Normal going.

Classy Molly also had a rough ride in the A7 at 1-58. She was crowded at the start and bumped at the first bend. Sent off the 5/2 joint favourite she clocked 30.99 (Normal) in 4th place beaten four lengths by the Wayne Wrighting winner Stanetta.
